| Just reminds me how truly blessed I am. The bad thing about what I see on boards like SOHH.com is that different opinions are not tolerated. So I think that this translates itself to these young peoples' daily situations. And if that's the case, I'm sad for them. But like I said before, I will not choose to be deaf,dumb, and blind even though others choose to do so. And those young cats can't fade me on a mental, spiritual or physical level. |

The best thing anyone can do is learn to pick your battles-
If they don't want to listen, they won't listen.
Another argument might be that we all have our own taste in music,
& as a personal thing we shouldn't even try to discuss it objectively.
On the whole, this has got to be true - but it's really difficult I know.
I just feel ashamed of people my age, really.
Maybe it reminds me of when I was 12 and thought I knew everything.
At least that's what a lot of these kids sound like. It's depressing. |

IF IT WAS NOT FOR US DOING WHAT WE DID AND STILL DO THESE YOUNGER CATS MIGHT STILL BE RUNNING AROUND HERE IN NUT HUGGER BELLBOTTOMS AND PLATFORM SHOES LISTENING TO THE BEE GEES AND DONNA SUMMERS.ALL THAT DISCO STUFF LIKE SATURDAY NIGHT UP IN HERE.
